Carl G. Berry RRP is CEO of Star Resorts. He has over 30 years of resort and urban development experience. Founded in 1978 Carl's predecessor companies, California Resorts and Resort Advisors, developed and marketed a wide deck of resort projects including the first urban timeshare and the World's largest urban project; the The Manhattan Club in NYC, Carl's skill sets include resort development, marketing and direct selling. He was the founder of The World’s Finest Resorts, and has served as Chairman of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA). Carl is a full member of the Urban Land Institute and is a member of the Red Flight of the Recreational Development Council.
Michael C. Bosch, Vice President Advisory Services. Mike brings 30-years of hands-on management for resort development and travel having run international travel companies and represented the U.S. Government in travel for the USSR and its dealings with Cuba. He has developed condominium hotels and his skill sets include product formulation, evaluation and direct sales. His recently completed assignments have been for projects in Russia, Mexico and within the U.S to Alaska and Utah.
Richard M. Feldheim is a Managing Partner of Star Ventures and co-owner of Star Resort Group. Rich Feldheim has played a key role in the growth of the burgeoning fractional ownership industry as a pioneer with the Northstar Club, Snowmass Club, the Christie Club and Front Four at Stowe Mountain Lodge. Over the past 30 years Mr. Feldheim has been involved with numerous other real estate ventures including hotels, condo-hotels, timeshare and undeveloped land. Recently he has helped create Great American Ranch Company a newly formed entity created for the acquisition, subdivision and sale of large land parcels throughout the western United States.
Ron Frank, RRP, Corporate Vice President, Sales. Ron has over 25 years experience in the fractional and timeshare industries in the selling side of the business. Ron is regarded as a master in sales training, techniques and education. He has held executive positions with Fairfield/Wyndham, Radisson and Sunterra Resorts before joining Star. His skill sets are that he is an outstanding leader with a deep focus on selling skills, team building education, and performance. He manages all the sales teams for Star projects.
Robert C. Wengel, RRP, Principal/Corporate Vice President, Project Acquisition and Management. Robert C. Wengel, with 30 years of development and senior management experience in the shared ownership industry, most recently was President, COO and Partner in Diamond Resorts International. Bob was a key player in the company’s landmark joint venture with Marriott Vacation Club International’s Grand Chateau in Las Vegas. Bob will guide the company’s expansion of projects. A former Director of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), Bob now lives with his wife and son in Butte, Montana where he enjoys the outdoors; fishing, hunting, golfing and raising Registered Quarter Horses.
Georgi Bohrod Gordon, RRP, Director of Corporate Communications. With more than 25 years in the shared ownership industry and a highly regarded public relations professional, Georgi has created and implemented a wealth of tactical marketing, advertising and public relations plans for hotels, timeshare resorts, resort developers, fractional properties, private residence clubs and travel industry corporations.
Mac MacEwan, Vice President Marketing has 30 years in the marketing business and 12 for fractions and resort properties. He has a deep understanding of strategic positioning, branding, marketing, collateral materials and lead generation. His skill sets focus on bringing qualified customers to the sales team. Specifically, he is the transitional step from product development to generating cash from sales. He has undertaken a number of alternative real estate product offerings for the deck of creative services.
Ashley S. Offermann, Vice President Project Management leads the project teams for Mt. Superior Club, Snowbird UT, Expedition Lodge, Kirkwood CA and Purgatory Lodge/The Pinnacle, Durango CO. Ash joined Star to lead the selling and affiliation division for The World's Finest Resorts, and on its sale to Cendent moved over to Star. His skill sets include a comprehensive understanding of all facets of fractional product management from concept through the closing of sales. He is a full member of the Urban Land Institute and is a member of the Silver Flight of the Recreational Development Council.
Vern Porter Vice President Hospitality Management. Vern provides direct management for Star Resorts managed properties and private residence clubs including the Northstar Club and the Nautical Inn, which includes a hotel, condo-hotel, fractional, golf, marina, and food and beverage operations. His career in the hospitality industry spans 25 years. Beginning as a CPA with Price Waterhouse & Co., he served as GM of The Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles CA and VP of Operations/Finance for the Biltmore companies. As VP with Harbaugh Hotel.
Christine Zahedi is a Managing Partner of Star Ventures, LLC. Since 1988 Ms. Zahedi’s experience includes real estate acquisition, development and hospitality/ golf operations management. Her responsibilities include due diligence for new project acquisitions as well as real estate registration of projects such as The Northstar Club and Front Four at Stowe. She was responsible for all facets of the acquisition of The Nautical Inn and golf course in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Ms. Zahedi is a Founder of Great American Ranch Company which subdivides and markets ranch properties in the Western United States.
